Leo XIV promotes Bishop García Macías, who fought the traditional Mass but promoted the Mayan liturgy in Mexico. Today, Pope Leo XIV appointed Spanish Bishop Aurelio García Macías, 61, as Secretary of the Dicastery for Divine Worship. He is succeeding Archbishop Vittorio Francesco Viola, who has been appointed Archpriest of St. Peter’s Basilica. García Macías is former rector of the seminary of Valladolid. A career man, with a gentle and courteous manner, like Monsignor Viola, he too was formed liturgically at Sant’Anselmo. In 2021, Francis appointed García Macías Undersecretary of the Congregation for Divine Worship and, unusually for that position, simultaneously elevated him to the episcopate. Part of the Sant’ Anselmo clique García Macías became a close friend of Archbishop Piero Marini, the former papal master of ceremonies and a prominent figure associated with the postconciliar liturgical reform. La Nuova Bussola Quotidiana identified García Macías in 2023 as part of a group of …Daha çox
Virtues vs Vices Ward off 7 Deadly sins with Virtues All other sins stem from or are manifestations of the Seven Deadly sins. Each sin demonstrates the lack of a specific virtue which can be combated by strengthening oneself in that opposing virtue.
Bishop Athanasius Schneider warned that Pope Leo XIV’s Vatican meeting on Amoris Laetitia “will not have fruit and meaning” unless the disputed teaching is corrected. In an interview with Michael Haynes, he condemned the interpretation approved by Pope Francis as “against divine law” and “a direct attack on the ineffable sanctity of the Eucharist.” Schneider insisted that the meeting must address the controversy with the Pope, arguing that the current practice cannot continue. He also denounced a new Vatican document commemorating Nostra Aetate as “a pure expression of relativism” and “a very cunning form of denial of the uniqueness of Jesus Christ,” declaring: “This is a betrayal of Christ.”
Lord Bebo & Friends SLAP FOR THE VASSALS Europe is in shock after Trump made a deal with Putin and thanked him. Europeans tried to isolate Putin for years, while the US does deals that benefit America. The EU destroys its industry and cuts itself off from cheap Russian energy, yet Trump makes deals with Russia at will. This happened as Europe switched its diesel provider to the US… and can now buy Russian diesel via the US All von der Leyen and her sidekicks’ daily efforts to condemn Putin were washed away. How can you isolate Putin if Trump thanked him for the diesel deal? European leaders look like vassal clowns once again… they seem to enjoy this role. Join us | @MyLordBebo
So funny. That man put the US in serious trouble. He had to go to Putin as usual for help. And Putin who lives by; We will always help everyone we get along with. Even those we don't. Has come to our aid once again. Does anyone really appreciate President Putin for his patience? Or his kindness and love? Just a few who don't know the man, who prefer propaganda hates Putin. Thank GOD I know the man "very" well. But he is making a huge mistake by helping Trump out. Though I know Putin is doing it mainly for us the citizens, whom Trump put us in a dangerous position. But what is Trump getting that diesel for? For us? Or his jets to fly to Iran to bomb them? We will know in the next 30 days or less.
Concubinages may contain “authentic love” - Leo XIV-appointed Bishop at the 'Amoris Laetitia' meeting. At the Vatican meeting marking ten years of Amoris Laetitia, Bishop Stephen Fernandes, 65, spoke on October 9 about accompanying unmarried couples. Leo XIV had apointed him as auxiliary bishop of Bombay, India, in October 2025. Discussing differences between countries, Bishop Fernandes said: “The Gospel remains one, but pastoral pathways cannot be identical everywhere.” Addressing cohabitation, he said that “we should resist both indifference and condemnation.” He proposed asking: “What is already good in their relationship? Where can we discern signs of generosity, fidelity, responsibility and grace?” Fernandes also questioned whether moving such couples toward marriage should be the sole objective: “The question is not simply: How can we move this couple towards a wedding? It is also: Are these two people truly called to marriage, and are they ready to enter into a lifelong marital …Daha çox
There is a legitimacy to this man's point. Yes, every instance of extra-marital "relations" is always a mortal sin, but some people just aren't going to respond appropriately to the "You're going to Hell" admonition. There is value in working with people to see what is good in their life and building upon that, in the hope that they will make their lives right before God, rather than just going in with a wrecking ball. There might even be a word for that...maybe..."compassion"?
XIV. Leo, Roma Ayini’nin düşmanı olan Başpiskopos Viola’yı Aziz Petrus Bazilikası’nın başrahibi olarak atadı – “Andrea Grillo’dan bile daha solcu”, Bugnini’nin yüzüğünü takıyor. Bugün Papa XIV. Leo, 61 yaşındaki O.F.M. üyesi Başpiskopos Vittorio Francesco Viola’yı Aziz Petrus Bazilikası Başrahibi, Vatikan Şehri Genel Vekili ve Aziz Petrus Yapı Kurulu Başkanı olarak atadı. Viola, Kardinal Mauro Gambetti’nin yerine geçiyor.
March for Life UK’nin Eş Direktörü Isabel Vaughan-Spruce, İngiltere’nin kürtaj tampon bölgesi yasası kapsamında yöneltilen beş suçlamaya karşı suçsuz olduğunu ileri sürdü.

Today, Pope Leo XIV appointed Archbishop Vittorio Francesco Viola, 61, O.F.M., as Archpriest of St. Peter’s Basilica, Vicar General for Vatican City, and President of the Fabric of St. Peter. He succeeds Cardinal Mauro Gambetti. Monsignor Viola will likely be created a cardinal, as every listed Archpriest of St. Peter’s for hundreds of years has been a cardinal. In 2021, when he was Bishop of Tortona, Francis appointed him Secretary of the Dicastery for Divine Worship. Viola’s career was strongly supported by Archbishop Domenico Sorrentino, who served as Prelate of Pompeii, Secretary of the Congregation for Divine Worship, and later Bishop of Assisi. In Assisi, he worked closely with Viola, who was active in Franciscan, liturgical, and charitable work. Archbishop Viola is part of the circle inspired by Archbishop Annibale Bugnini, the architect …Daha çox
