“People always come before borders, before definitions and institutions. “This realization stands at the center of Christianity. “Evil is not fought with evil. It is time to oppose the false realism that rearms minds, words, and nations with the realism of mercy.” — Pope Leo XIV
As a Catholic attached to the doctrine and law of the Church prior to the upheaval of the Conciliar period, I believe that a fundamental question can no longer be avoided: what exactly is the nature of the rupture that emerged with the Second Vatican Council and the reforms that followed it? This question did not originally arise within sedevacantist circles. It was formulated as early as the 1970s by bishops who were still officially in communion with Paul VI and who were precisely seeking to defend what they regarded as the traditional Catholic Church. The words of Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre are particularly significant in this regard. In 1976, he declared: “The Conciliar Church is a schismatic church, since it breaks with the Catholic Church of all time.” L’Église conciliaire et la question de la rupture
THEY ARE EATING THE CATS "No Hay Gatos En Ceuta!" They’re eating the cats in Ceuta. Volunteer caregivers who feed the street cat colonies every day say the animals are vanishing. Dead cats are turning up cut apart. Pigeons and seagulls are being found half-devoured — three weeks after tens of thousands of migrants poured across the border from Morocco into the Spanish enclave. This is not rumor. This is what the people on the ground are reporting. We go through the primary accounts, the specific neighborhoods, what is documented vs. what is still unproven, and why the timing matters. No drama for drama’s sake. Documents and first-hand reports. If this story is going to travel, it should travel with the facts attached. Watch, share, and decide for yourself.

Highlights - Republic of San Marino: Meeting with Clergy, 22 August 2026, Pope Leo XIV During his visit to San Marino on August 22, Pope Leo XIV highlighted the legacy of Saints Marinus and Leo, the founders of the Republic. As laymen and stonemasons—who were only later called to ordained ministry—“they knew how to translate the Gospel message into a new communal and political model strongly characterized by the Christian principles of freedom, mutual respect, and communion.” Pope to youth: Open your hearts to the infinite The Holy Father began his address to the ecclesial community of San Marino with an invitation to young people to open their hearts to the infinite, rather than being satisfied with “partial, immediate answers.” This, he said, can lead them to an encounter with God, who can help them leave their mark on history. Pope Leo went on to invite all those present to enthusiastically embrace the mission given them by God, and to have the courage to make demanding choices, such …More
Pope in San Marino: Respond to conflict by … Responding to conflict by following the Gospel with greater conviction Pope Leo insisted that Jesus is the definitive answer to the questions of the meaning of life, and that the Gospel is the “path of freedom” for all men and women. As such, it is a gift we can give to all those we meet. And it is why Christians practice charity in all its diverse forms, but always aimed at “the ultimate and integral good of the people to whom we offer our support.” In a world marked by conflict, he said, “our response can only be to walk with even greater conviction on the path of the Gospel”. Pope Leo XIV concluded his address by once again recalling the importance of communion in order to overcome individualism and “distrustful and divisive parochialism,” and “to breathe new life into our hopes for fraternity and peace.” This, he said, is a part both of the legacy of Saints Marinus and Leo, and of “our mission to continue with perseverance and dedication …More
Sons of Thunder: Those who burned in blazing Zeal for Yahweh, the God of Sinai, Yahweh, the God of Israel. 1) Luke 9:52-54; He sent messengers ahead of him, and they went and entered a Samaritan village to make preparations for Him; but they did not welcome Him because He was on His way to Jerusalem. When His disciples James and John (Boanerges: sons of thunder, Mark 3:17) saw this, they said, “Lord, do you want us to call down fire from heaven to consume them?” 2) Prophet Elijah answered Yhaweh: "I am filled with burning zeal for Yahweh Sabaoth, because the sons of Israel have deserted you and broken down your altars” (1 King 19:10) a) 1 Kings 18:38-40; The fire of Yahweh fell and consumed the burnt offering and the wood, and licked up the water from the trenches. All the people saw this, and they fell on their faces and said, “The LORD is God; the LORD is God!” Elijah said to them, “Seize the prophets of Baal; let not a single one of them escape.” So they seized them, and Elijah led …More

"For me, the Church is synodal," said Bishop Heiner Wilmer, 65, in an interview with Kirche-Und-Leben.de on 21 August. He is the chairman of the German Bishops’ Conference. In March 2026, Pope Leo XIV promoted the pro-homosexual bishop to Münster, the largest diocese in Germany. Monsignor Wilmer said that synodality is "deeply rooted" in Münster diocese. He added that he was looking forward to "the common journey with many baptised people, but also internationally, ecumenically, and with our Jewish and Muslim brothers and sisters". Grateful for Lay Preaching When asked about lay preaching during Eucharists, Bishop Wilmer admitted that he there are "many" baptised women and men who had been engaging with this issue for years, and that a culture had developed around it. Wilmer has "great respect for this established tradition" and is "deeply grateful" for it. He is "convinced that the wonderful pastoral workers will find a good way to deal with the circumstances” - taking about the Vatican's …More
Religious Sisters Suppressed After Vatican Intervention for “Being Too Traditional”: Conservative Bishop Earl K. Fernandes of Columbus has suppressed the Children of Mary, a traditional community of religious sisters (canonically, a public association of the faithful) based in Newark, Ohio. In his August 10 letter, Fernandes cites fairly general problems with formation and communal life, as well as concerns about the proper separation of the internal and external forum. He says that Rome’s Dicastery for Institutes of Consecrated Life informed him that the community would never be approved as an institute of diocesan right. But there’s another side: Anthony Stine, citing an anonymous source close to the community, claims that the underlying issue was that the sisters’ formation and catechesis were regarded as too traditional.

"Masons, heretics, apostates, sodomites, pro-abortionists, sexual abusers, prevaricators, atheists, fraudsters, misers, pagans, enemies of the Virgin and of Tradition... these are the members who make up the new church orchestrated by Prevost-Bergoglio, which they want to force us to accept as if it were the Church of Christ."
The University of Notre Dame's McGrath Institute for Church Life has published on July 17 a report containing twelve proposals for assessing candidates for the priesthood. Entitled, "Do You Know Them to Be Worthy?", the file was written by Father Thomas V. Berg and psychologist Timothy G. Lock. The report draws on research commissioned from the Center for Applied Research in the Apostolate (CARA) and a consultation held at Notre Dame in September 2025. The proposals concern psychological assessment, candidates with particular psychological or developmental conditions, and formation for chastity and celibacy. It addresses candidates with conditions including ADHD, obsessive-compulsive disorder and autism spectrum disorder. On homosexual attraction, the Notre Dame authors note that a pause in formation may "more often than not" lead to a decision not to advance a candidate toward ordination. The authors think the pause is needed to assess four things: - how the man understands his identity; …More

Monsignor Anthony Spinosa, 75, a Maronite Catholic priest, has been accused of engaging in a public homosexual act with registered sex offender Kenneth Kopp, 54, at Perkins Park in Warren, Ohio, according to Wfmj.com. Spinosa had served since 2002 as rector of the Basilica and National Shrine of Our Lady of Lebanon in North Jackson. He was elevated to the rank of "Chorbishop" (prelate) in 2016. On Thursday, he was relieved of his ministerial assignment. The allegations stem from July 31, when a couple walking their dog told police they saw Kopp on his knees allegedly performing a homosex act on Spinosa, who was smoking a cigar. They further alleged that one of the men invited them to join in and offered to let them watch for payment. According to the police report, the incident occurred "in broad daylight," about 100 meters from a playground where children were present. Police subsequently found Kopp in a Honda Civic near a black rug and pink boots. A search of the vehicle uncovered wigs …More
